Check JAMB Result 2020: How to Check Your UTME Results


If you sat for JAMB 2020 Examination, be informed that that you can now on your own Check JAMB Result 2020 online!

As expected, the JAMB management has made open the result checking portal which you can now freely access by yourself with your mobile phone, palmtop, laptop or desktop.

Without much talks, let’s quickly show you how to check your 2020 UTME results.

How To Check 2020 JAMB Result

1. Check JAMB Result Via SMS.

Do you know you can now check 2020 JAMB Result via SMS? Yes you can and we will show you right away.

NOTE: Before you can do this, you need to have at least a credit balance of N50 on your phone.

To check your result via SMS, send RESULT via SMS to 55019 using the same phone number you used to register for JAMB.

Your result, would be replied as an SMS shortly after and the following are the responses to be expected:

If you use a phone number that you did not used to register, a message will be sent to you thus:

This phone number was not used for registration

If you have result, you will receive the message:

Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).

If a your result is withheld, you will receive the message:

Result Withheld

If you belong to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message you will receive will be

Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you

If you were absent, the message you will receive will be:

CANDIDATE ABSENT

If you were Absent and you have Registration Number and it was Cancelled, you will get the message below:

Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall

2. How To Check JAMB UTME Result Online

The simple steps below will guide you to check your 2020 JAMB UTME result online without scratch card i.e. FREE!

Step 1: Go to JAMB result checking portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CheckUTMEResults

Step 2: Enter your JAMB Registration Number/Email Address in the required column.

Step 3: Click on ‘Check My Results’.

Step 4: The portal will load your result if it’s ready.
