Brief History of WAEC

Established in 1952, the West African Examinations Council, WAEC has it it’s core vision to be a world-class examining body adding value to the educational goals of its stakeholders. WAEC is West Africa’s foremost examining board established by law to determine the examinations required in the public interest in the English-speaking West African countries, to conduct the examinations and to award certificates comparable to those of equivalent
examining authorities internationally.

WAEC Timetable, A Prerequisite for Preparing for WASSCE

As a prerequisite for preparation of it’s yearly examinations, the West African Examinations Council, WAEC publishes it’s examination timetable to aid candidates know the start date and the end of the exam, paper code, subject paper, duration and time for each subject. Start Date and End Date for WAEC 2020/2021 Examinations
