Wike Shifts lockdown from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 May, 2020

==> Governor Nyesom Wike has shifted the proposed second phase of total lockdown of Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt local government areas.

==> The total lockdown which according to Wike is measure to stop the spread of coronavirus in the state was supposed to resume on Thursday 14 May 2020 after the two day break he declared so people can restock their homes and other essential items will now kickoff on Sunday.

==>Meanwhile, he said for now, night curfew will be enforced in Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt from 8pm to 6am on Thursday 14 May to Saturday 16 May 2020 before the total lockdown will resume from 8pm on Sunday 17 May till further notice.

==>Rivers State according to NCDC daily report has a total of 23 confirmed cases of COVID-19 — 16 active cases, 4 recoveries and 3 deaths.
